Molasses cookies
- 3 eggs
- 12oz Jar of Molasses
- 1.5 cups Margarine or Crisco
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 6 TBLS vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tsp baking soda
- 1.5 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 6 - 8 cups Flour "Add flour until you can't stir it anymore" - are the original directions
Directions:
Cream sugar, margarine, molasses, add eggs, add vinegar
Add dry ingredients and the first 2 cups of flour
Keep adding flour until it's a relatively stiff batter.
Drop spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
375 degrees, at 8 minutes for high altitude (350, 10-12 min regular)
