CUT OUT Cookies - Christmas, Halloween, Valentines Day, Birthdays, St. Patricks day... Cut out cookies (Martha Stewart, again!)

Cousins! 2012 and Valentine's day this time.
 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 4  tblsp brandy (Grand Mone’t)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking baking powder

For royal icing 

3 egg whites, 1 lbs powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp lemon, almond, or vanilla extract 


Directions:

Cream, beat, mix, chill 30 minutes, (3 balls is easiest) 

400 oven and 8-10 minutes at high altitude. 

Flood and frost!
